01 Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh ("NHF", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide through the NHF-CCD Conference 2026 app and registration website. By creating an account or registering for the conference, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
02 Information we collect
When you register or use the app, we collect: your full name, email address, mobile number, institute/organisation name, professional designation, BM&DC registration number (for doctors), profile photo, and payment/fee status. If you use in-app calling or the live feed, we also process call metadata (who called whom, and when) and any posts, comments, or session questions you submit.
03 How we use your information
Your information is used to process and verify your conference registration, generate your registration ID and receipt, issue your ID card and certificate, send you conference-related emails and notifications, enable session Q&A and the live feed, and connect delegate calls through the app.
04 Payment information
Conference fee payments made through the app or website are processed by bKash. We do not store your bKash PIN or full account credentials — only the payment status, transaction/invoice ID, and amount paid are recorded against your registration.
05 Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Realtime Database), secured with access rules that restrict who can read or write it. Only authorised NHF-CCD organizing committee administrators can access the full registration database.
06 Third-party services
The app uses Agora for voice/video calling between delegates and bKash for payment processing. These providers process only the minimum data required to perform their function (e.g. connecting a call, or completing a payment) and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
07 Your choices
You may update your profile information (including your photo and designation) at any time from the Profile screen. To request correction or deletion of your data outside the app, contact us using the details below.
